"It fell on him and trapped him": the father of one of the potholers stuck in Isère describes his son's rescue

A major rescue operation was launched on Sunday to help the three cavers. Two of them were able to escape on Sunday evening, and the third, who was injured, was extracted on Monday morning . Conscious and with an injured arm, he was taken to hospital by helicopter.
"I was outside, but I was in radio contact with them," said the young man's father. "The two people who were with him quickly saw that he was stuck and that they would have a hard time freeing him on their own, and as we were lucky enough to be in radio contact between the inside of the cave and the outside of the cave, that allowed us to call for help immediately."
